We are back. Super excited for this months dance! This Dance will be focused around the 5 rhythms format with some intuitive creativity called forth from within ourselves. Our unique, intuitively chosen intention will act as its own piece of the collective puzzle, creating a harmonious experience for us on this sacred journey together AS THE 5RHYTHMS. If it doesn’t make sense just yet, it will when you get here. I enjoy involving the mystery aspect to the event. Different little spins each dance to keep it fun and fresh.
We will be meeting at 630 to give ourselves time to come together, settle in and connect while enjoying our yummy cacao. Possible mini energy session. The dance starts at 7pm. As always please feel free to express yourself on the exterior however you feel called whether that be a full costume or neat outfit to face paint or even anything in the name of Halloween/All Hallows Eve. I did not have guidance to make this a Halloween dance but please come as you desire.
This Dance is Outside. We have large fans and cooling misters outside if needed but hopefully it’s cool enough for a Fire There is also plenty of inside space for dancing or relaxing.
What is ECSTATIC DANCE?
Ecstatic dance is a form of movement in which we the dancers, sometimes without the need to follow specific steps, abandon ourselves to the rhythm of the music. As we move freely and synchronistically through the music together we will experience a high vibrational soul journey of transformation. The dance serves as a form of meditation, helping us to release and expand our consciousness to live in serenity. This will be experienced from our own unique perspectives and possibly to differing degrees. We may feel more connected to others, and to our own emotions.
By moving the body, releasing the heart, and freeing the mind we connect to the essence of the soul, the source of inspiration in which we as individuals have unlimited possibility and potential. Limitless Life Has Arrived! Are you going to choose this Experience for yourself?
Another fun aspect of this gathering is Drinking Cacao together in a ceremonial sitting. This has become a part of our experience that helps keeps us centered, connected to our hearts, and clear minded. This heart expanding tool not only feels electric but tastes yummy too. Cacao has been used in ancient ceremonies by South Americans (the Maya) for thousands of years. It has an active ingredient in it called theobromine — which can be translated to, ‘Food of the Gods’. The word cacao actually came from the Maya word Ka’kau, and the Maya word Chokola’j — which means to drink chocolate together.
If you have never experienced this journey, it is okay to feel uncertain. Here in the Sacred space of The Fortress of Light, a safe, judgement free container has been created. Any form of expression is invited and accepted fully, whether that be movement, stillness or another unique choice. - we Honor and Empower you to be present exactly as you are. Namaste
The Fortress of Light is asked to be treated as the Sacred Space it is. This includes being mindful of the fact that its a Drug free, alcohol free and vape/tobacco free environment. Much love and appreciation.
Look for the parking sign. Parking will be out front beside the road on the left, in the grass. Park in the row beside the car that came before you.
The front house is not The Fortress of Light. You will keep walking ALL THE WAY to the back house. FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBITS. The Sacred White Light guides the Way.
