We are having an early End of the Year and Engagement Dance Party. Everyone is invited. We will be celebrating Jim and Kay's engagement, who met in our class. This will be our last Thursday in the big room, so this will be our end of the year party.
Thursday December 1
6 to 7 pm Argentine Tango.
7 to 8 pm Intro to Social Dancing Review Waltz.
8 to 9 pm or so Dance Mix Mostly Swing and Other Stuff.
At B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd, around the left side.
Cost: $10 for the evening if you have not paid for the series.
Everyone is invited. No experience and no partner needed. If you come with a partner, you do not have to rotate if you do not want to.
We will hold our normal Beginning Argentine Tango class at 6 pm. At 7 pm, we will hold our Introduction to Social Dancing class. We will review Merengue, Slow Waltz and Country Waltz. At 8 pm, depending on who is there, we will dance to music suitable for West Coast Swing, Hustle, Lindy Swing and some other dances. We will also do a waltz mixer.
If you want to bring a snack, you can bring something that has no meat, and is not from the French Bakery, which uses lard. Publix and Fresh Market are good.
