Argentine Tango Milonga El Abrazo with Maldito Tango Duo

Special event with live music, performing are the Maldito Tango Duo. Public milonga for Argentine Tango dancers. Held regularly on the second Saturday of each month. Non-dancers welcome to come. Music is predominately Golden Age 1935-1945, some 20s and 50s, some Alternative and Nuevo. Bring drinks and snacks.

Guitarist Scott O'Day has studied in Argentina with many of the great
guitarists in tango, most notably Anibal Arias (who worked closely with
Anibal Troilo), and is widely considered one of the strongest guitarists
playing tango in the US. Bandoneonist Charles Gorczynski leads the
Redwood Tango Ensemble, a highly active and touring ensemble devoted to
the art of live music in the milonga. The two bring a strong pulse and
deep feel for this music to the dance floor using one of tango's most
iconic instrumentations.
