Fifth Sunday of the month is a special dance for advanced dancers. No partner needed. Please wear clean, soft-soled shoes to protect the floor. This dance is held for those dancers who have attended at least three contra dances in the past and feel comfortable with the most common contra dance figures. While a new dancer will not be turned away, this dance will not be planned to accommodate them as our regular dances are. There will be no introductory workshop and the evening may not necessarily begin with easy dances and build up in complexity. If you want to introduce a newbie to contra, please bring her/him to one of the regular dances.
