Doors open at 7 for a warm up. Ira starts teaching at 7:30. Come out for a fun evening of dancing with people from different groups around Gainesville, Ocala and North Florida. Internationally known teacher and choreographer Ira Weisburd comes to Gainesville on his US East Coast tour for an Israeli and International Folk Dance workshop and party. Ira is the choreographer of Boi Malka, Sonata, Shuj Shuj Zemer and many other dances. Ira has recently returned from his second tour of Asia, the first 25 years ago, where people are still doing the dances he taught a quarter of a century later.
